I thought I'd skim this and argue with it. I ended up reading most of it properly. Jorgenson lets Musk speak in his own words, and on rockets, batteries, and first-principles engineering he often sounds like a genius — whether you like the man or not.
I don't like a lot of his transhumanist brain–tech stuff. That left me cold.
What stuck is the EV future he describes: once cars drive themselves and answer to a phone, ownership changes shape. Everyone becomes a kind of taxi "driver" — your car earns while you sleep, rented out through an app. I have no idea if it'll happen, but it's the idea that still pops into my head months later.
Mixed bag for me, heavier on curiosity than worship.
